Vendors and Websites

I have worked with all of these Vendors and they are all top notch.  Also, check out some of the following  websites which are loaded with good ideas.  I recommend finding your style before you sit down with a florist or baker or photographer or even a caterer (!) so that you can clearly show and tell your vendors what you want.  Style can be hard to describe accurately.  Use photos and share websites even if they are from other parts of the world to help you get what you are looking for.  If you are unsure of the direction you want to go in, ask for photos from your vendors of past events.  Most of all, have fun.  This is a time to cherish, not to anguish over.

Venues

Chequesett Neck Yatch Club  in Wellfleet        www.cycc.net
The most beautiful and charming site you will find on the Outer Cape.  Classic country club main house overlooking both the green and the bay with a working boat house on the beach. Reven Oliver  handles all the wedding details and is an absolute gem to work with.  All of your needs and the needs of your guests will be taken care of without the fussiness of most high end country clubs.

Mass Audubon in Barnstable   www.massaudubon.org
Great organization to work with and there site is so lovely.  Open lawn that leads down to a protected inlet with a barrier beach.
They only do a handful of weddings a year but the cost is very low and the money goes to a good cause.  Tent is required as there are no inside facilities.
